#105 Crimson Condos [1]

Reviewed on 2024-06-22 by Melissa S. , Plaucheville , LA United StatesThank You for the opportunity to express our thoughts about our experience in #105! <br/>The condo was roomy and equipped with necessities. The issues with a/c were not acceptable. The lowest temperature stated in disclosure contract was ‘72’! The adjustable setting could not obtain lower than 74. <br/>I live in south Louisiana and know humidity and heat. A true 72 would have been very welcomed. Considering the age of condo and small air return a complete change out of unit is required to fix the issues. <br/>Other than this major inconvenience, my suggestion is to remove the 2 clocks on kitchen wall. <br/>Would also like to mention the beautiful renovation in master bathroom. <br/>
Crimson 105
Reviewed on 2024-06-02 by Lisa K. , Portage, MI United States3rd year staying at the Crimson 105- great location! Beautiful views and nice walk across street to John’s Pass. Pool was fun and it was nice to be able to grill out. Unit could use an update- smelled a bit musty - in need of fresh modern paint and decor and new comforter. Master bed wasn’t comfortable- had 2x4’s under the frame- husband had a backache all week. Maintenance man was great and fast- toilet handle broke and was in to fix within an hour. Office staff is friendly and helpful!
Great Madeira Beach Condo!
Reviewed on 2024-05-22 by Kristine P. , Muncie, IN United StatesLove this location! It is across Gulf Blvd. from John's Pass and has gated access to Madeira Beach. We love the security of the building. You need to input a code to access the stairs and have a key to enter the lobby. The condo itself is clean, nicely decorated and spacious for the four of us. This is not beachfront, however, you can view the water from the edge of the patio. If you are like us, and not in the condo much- it doesn't matter! This is our third stay at this condo. We are booked again later this year!
Spring Break Vacay
Reviewed on 2024-04-21 by , Hudsonville, MI United StatesThe only complaints we had were that the king-sized mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and the hot tub was not working.
The location of this condo is great. Easy access to both the beach and St. John's Pass. <br/>The only complaints we had were that the king-sized mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and the hot tub was not working.
Condo needs some improvements
Reviewed on 2024-04-04 by , Burford, ON UnknownWe love the location! The condo itself needs improvement. The King bed is so hard and lumpy and very uncomfortable. The microwave door handle is broken and floors are not clean. The pool heater was broken to 2.5 weeks so the pool was not usable. But it is close to everything in the area and the beach is beautiful.
No One Informed Us of the Construction
Reviewed on 2024-03-03 by Pat M. , Loudon, TN USPoor business on both the owner and resort host for not giving us a heads up on these conditions. (I have photos taken from bedroom window and balcony, if anyone doubts my claim.)
The proximity to John’s Pass and the beach was ideal. The proximity to the construction dumpster and the two ports-potties was NOT! The construction dumpster receiving debris dropped from the roof (3 stories above) was literally 10 feet below our master bedroom windows. The Two ports-potties (outhouses) were a mere 8 feet from the edge of our balcony. Being awoken by debris crashing into the dumpster was not the experience we paid for! And, depending on which way the wind was blowing, sitting on our balcony was unbearable due to the repugnant odors from the outhouses! Due to the cooler than typical February this year, we spent more time than usual in the unit...and it was anything but peaceful and relaxing.<br/>Poor business on both the owner and resort host for not giving us a heads up on these conditions. Magnificent location with n Madeira beach
Reviewed on 2024-02-11 by , Wheaton, IL United StatesWe have been renting for 12 years with sun host. Always the same condo . It’s a great location across from John’s pass. We love being able to walk to shopping, restaurants, beach and seeing dolphins. The management addresses any problems promptly.

Beautiful condo with beach and pool!!
Reviewed on 2023-04-24 by , Lake Frederick, VA USWe really enjoyed this luxury condo! Everything was supplied that we needed. Washer & dryer helpful! Pool was clean, and the sand was soft! Everything was in working order. Beach View from the large balcony was limited, but the lighted palm trees and foliage made up for that. Would rent it again.
Clean and convenient to the beach!Unit

Great vacation destination and have stayed here many times.
Reviewed on 2022-11-15 by Ryan R. , Eau Claire, WI United StatesWashing machine could use a deep clean due to build up of old fabric mold in the outer drum. Entry closet is functional but kind of stubborn and outdated.
I will definitely be back to enjoy more vacations.
Great and affordable experience. Beautiful views and excellent kitchen, master bedroom shower and balcony. The only 2 things that could be improved would be the master bedroom remote. Right arrow buttons are next to impossible to use. The mattress in the master bedroom could be upgraded for sure. <br/><br/>Washing machine could use a deep clean due to build up of old fabric mold in the outer drum. Great stay at Crimson 105
Reviewed on 2022-05-23 by aaron w. , Atoka, OK United StatesLate check in was a breeze. Condo was clean and cool when we arrived. The location is perfect for convince. John’s pass is a short walk around the corner or across the street. Many food choices and tours to choose from! Pool and hot tub were perfect. Beach wasn’t too crowded and the sunsets were amazing! There is a slight ocean view from the balcony and we enjoyed having breakfast there. The condo had beach chairs and umbrellas available so that made beach days amazing. You can also rent a set up on the beach as well. The WiFi and TV’s worked great our entire stay. We never ran out of ice and filtered water from fridge was great. We cooked many meals and had all cookware needed.

First time stay impression and Crimson 105 review
Reviewed on 2022-02-28 by Christopher H. , Marshalltown, IA United StatesThanks for the opportunity to review. This was our first time staying with Sun Host. The impression was not the best. First. The thermostat was locked and not adjustable. We called and asked for help but was told no one knew the code. It was cold that week and with tile floors uncomfortable in the space all week! Allowing the renter to adjust the temperature to be comfortable should be the highest priority for a management team or renter for repeat business.
Second. The rugs in the condo are filthy and need cleaned.
Third. I was looking forward to sitting in the hot tub but the railing broke the prior week. Looking at it this has been a problem for a long time with previous shoddy repairs.
Feel free to call me if you would like to discuss in more detail.
Regards.

good value
Reviewed on 2021-09-20 by Lisa B. , Signal Mountain , TN United StatesMay have been updated but did not look very recent. Large condo, reasonably clean. All tile floors and leather sectional sofa was nice. Bed was hard as a Rock and silk plants were dusty and outdated. Poinsettia in bathroom in September. Worst problem was sign plaque on wall saying you could not turn air conditioning below 72 degrees or it would freeze up and it took 24 hours to unthaw. After a long day in the Sun 72 can be a little hot for some people like me. They should have warned you of this before you stayed. They did have dehumidifiers which helped some. Still very hot at night though and afraid to turn air down. Small complex (15 units) and very quiet. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

Crimson 105
Reviewed on 2021-05-25 by Stephen W. , Wooster, OH United StatesWe had a great time. My fiance sat in the Hot Tub for less than 10 minutes and her suit was ruined. You could smell chlorine 20 feet away. She also developed a rash, probably due to chlorine exposure. We told SUNHOST and they said they were not responsible and they were rude. We called the building management. The receptionist, I think cared, she said her manager would call us back, but we never heard from him. I plan to tell everyone I know not to stay at the Crimson. Its a nice place, but service sucks
