Best beach vacation rental unit!
Reviewed on 2024-06-09 by mary h. , tampa, FL United StatesWe ewre in unit #205 at Las Brisas a week in May 2024. It is a three bedroom, two bath unit that is extremely well equiped. Plenty of cookware, dinnerware, and utensils in the kitchen. Best equipped we have seen in many years of renting. There is a very large washer and dryer as well. there is a very large closet between the second bath and one bedroom that is stocked with a great deal of beach toys, chairs, umbrella, boards and games. That was a huge bonus! There are also rental cabana chairs/umbrella set up right in front of the beach side property if you don't want to carry anything to the beach! The furniture is very comfortable with the large sofa having two recliners built in. A large TV in living area, smaller TV in all three bedrooms. Unfortunately, we could not get the TV in the second bedroom to work while we were there. Did not call maintenance to help. The balcony is exceptional, very large. Has high wooden chairs that are comfortable and allows you to enjoy the beach scene looking over the railing, not through it as most balcony furniture do! There is the Reef Retaurant right across the street that has a daily dinner special which we utilized frequently so we didn't have to cook often. Plenty of other places nearby as well. Only one parking space per unit. We had three vehicles so we had to make arrangements to park the extra vehicles a little further away from Las Brisas. It is very tight parking in almost all of the parking spaces so larger cars/trucks can be a bit of a problem. Check in is at 4:00. We had hoped to get in a little earlier but did not get the code to the lock until 3:58!!! We had already been to the grocery store anticipating getting in a little earlier. Having a code lock instead of keys was great as there were 6 of us staying there. I would highly recommend this unit. Management was very pleasant and helpful with any communication. You can check out with the app that they provide you with on your reservation.
Great view and stay

View from the balcony was beautiful. Family had a great time viewing the beach, being at the beach, and the pool. Beds were comfortable for 4 adults and 3 children. There were extra beach chairs, sand toys/buckets, boogie boards, etc. in the storage area of the condo. We had a great stay. Only a 2 min walk to the bus/trolley stop. Great Location, not that great of a place

The living room had a filthy dirty rug in it that we had to roll up and put behind the couch, deck was nice, No Parking which was a problem and no recycling

Perfect Beach Getaway

Beautiful views of the ocean and we loved the bar height patio chairs to see over the railing for a straight view of the water. We appreciated all of the games and beach toys in the unit to enjoy during our stay. The lock is a little fidgety but we figured it out by the second day. My only complaint is the living room rug either needs to be replaced or washed. However, this wouldn’t stop us from staying again.

Best Spring Break Trip!

We have rented from Sun Host multiple times and have never had any issues. The only problem we are running into now is trying to find a place similar to what we had this year. Some of the prices (if you can find a unit) have gone up as much as 70%. Not good.

I appreciated the great beach chairs (however no beach towels) and cornhole boards in the condo. We had everything we needed for the week. Maintenance addressed two small issues in a very timely manner. I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend purchasing higher quality linens (towels and bedding).

We couldn’t be more pleased with our Las Brisas rental unit. It was a great space for 6 adults in three generations. The condo itself is in an amazing location. Beachfront and very close to all restaurants and bars. The condition of the rental was good although i strongly recommend an updated refrigerator. It never seemed to get cold enough. Also plan on buying dish soap and a dish scrubber as what was left wasn’t nearly enough ( a dollar store is nearby) The Rental Company.... 3 interactions. 1st one was fine. 2nd one- elderly woman was borderline rude but chilled out when i matched her tone . 3rd interaction i felt like I was bothering them . All general questions - there were no issues so the responses i received wasn’t appropriate.<br/>The property - fantastic . The rental company - not so much . We had an amazing family vacation and the condo was great . I try to overlook the rudeness . That’s all that matters

Wonderful vacation rental

Only downside was there was no visitor parking space which was an issue due to a weekly required visit from a Hospice nurse due to having the patient being located out of the home servicing area.
Great Vacation Stay on Maderia Beach!

The unit it self was just what our family needed. Loved the large dining room table for dinners and games in the evening. There were a few items of disappointment. The lack of headboard / support for the single queen bed, mattress in the master bedroom needs to be updated and is not fully attached to the headboard either. Everything else was great and just what our party of 7 needed for our stay.

Beautiful Condo with some issues

One our way to the airport, we were called and notified that the washer was needing a new hose and that someone would be there Tuesday to repair the washer. We were told we could use the cold water to wash, but could not use the hot water. Come to find out, it was the opposite. Starting Tuesday morning following the AC unit install, we started having electrical issues. So by Thursday we had an electrician in our unit all afternoon. Beautiful condo, less than relaxing week of vacay with people in and out of our condo 3 of our 5 days there.

Our only complaint would be the lack of kitchen utensils and kitchen ware. The slider in the master is also very hard to close. Overall an amazing property and we wouldn't hesitate to book again.
