We were very happy with our rental at Sandy Shores. Unit was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. Unit had all the amenities we needed. Calls for any information or assistance were met pleasantly and quickly. Property was secure and we felt safe.

Perfect location across from John’s pass...we walked over to eat one night and a couple times to shop or to grab coffee or ice cream! Condo was close to beach which was great! Pool was big and we always saw pool guy cleaning the chairs and the deck from sand! Very secure with codes to get on elevator and to pool and beach. Super quiet bc sits back off road so you don’t hear all the traffic to John’s pass. Would definitely rent again!!

There was no hot water in kitchen sink. Also, would like a partial refund as the pool heater was broken the whole time we were there, that is the reason we stayed there as I was there last year and loved the pool. More towels would be appreciated. Otherwise, it was very good.

We had a great time at Sandy Shores! The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a great week! The biggest problem we had was the elevator. We stayed on the 5th floor and the elevator broke down 3 times during our stay.

The building itself needs alot if TLC. The elevator is very slow, hit and dirty. It broke down twice while we were there. The shower by gate coming in off Beach doesn't work. The walls, especially 5th floor are in need of a good cleaning. The room itself was ok. The loveseat was broke, not enought pots and pans, unfortunately there was a cockroach in the kitchen.

We have been staying in Madeira Beach for many years and this was one of the cleanest Condos we’ve ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the pool and surrounding chairs and tables were always clean and tidy. This is a very nice unit. The only complaints we had was the lack of kitchen supplies such as a crockpot and mixer - for those who like to cook on their vacation and the elevator was very slow and could use updated.Otherwise, great stay!

We rent Sandy Shores 501 every year for the last 6 yrs. Love the location. However, it seems to be going downhill. Beds are worn out, condo stayed hot with AC on and pool was never heated thru the whole stay.

TV situation was not the best. Only cable, with no box, so no guide and hard to change channels. Had maintenance there for that issue, great guy! The best things were the location across the street from John's Pass, no car needed, and the view was crazy beautiful! Beds comfy. Clean. Good recliner! Wifi good. Could use some new fry pans. Used grill, also clean. Wish they would offer a repeat guest discount but will stay again. John's Pass was a great destination walk each day.

This place was recommended to us for our honeymoon. It has a great view of the ocean. Very clean and quick access to the pool and beach. Johns Pass is a quick walk across the street. Will definitely come back!

The sofa and loveseat need to be replaced. They are stained and in bad condition.
The mattresses were ok, but not real comfortable.
There was a glitch in notifying us that our condo was ready. Instead of them saying there was no problem and that we could get in, the woman was intent on letting me know it was my fault. This is not good customer service,

Payed for 6 days.First day ac was not working,second day spend outside with a little child beacause been waiting for another apartment to relocate.The last day of our stay the constraction company came to our apt from outside(menegament provided them our door code) and started the constraction work.Was messy,a lot of dust so we jast moved out to another hotel in Tampa with a little child.Management just said we have to do the constraction in ur apt because our boss said us to do that.Never ever book this place!!!!
Just spend money for not working ac and a constraction work,rude guys who entered apt without permission.Menagement just gave them a code from a door and they came and made a constraction repair works.Shame on you!!!Promised to return full amount instead of that just got a funny check for 200 baks.Never ever book this place!!!

We rented this condo for a month. If we were renting for a week, we could put up with these things listed. But after a week, the condo got uncomfortable. The rental needs an update. It won't take much effort or money to make this condo five stars. The sofa was worn and dirty. The kitchen was lacking basic supplies; there was no big frying pan, no stirring spoon, no tablespoons, and one dull cutting knife. The kitchen light has broken light panels. The old and dirty dish drying rack was too big to fit in the sink. The drip coffee pot needs to be cleaned (or replaced). The bathroom had no shelves or drawers for storage, and it needs a new mirror. The bath curtain was missing two rings (I brought a set). I ask and got a floor mop, a toilet brush, and clothes hangers. There were no beach chairs. One of the queen beds had a full flat sheet. The pillows were flat. The sheets were thin. There was no tv channel guide. The office supplied a guide but the channels on the guide did not match the tv channels.

We were pleased with our condo as well as the staff who were very helpful. The luggage carts were few and some were in disrepair. The beach was pleasant but occasionally you could smell and feel the results of red tide.

The place that was such a friendly family facility with customers always coming first has become just a money maker for the Sunhost corporation. I will never go to any place they manage ever again !

We needed to use the pull out couch but there were no linens included and the mattress was terribly thin and uncomfortable so we bought a blow up mattress instead. The view from the Condo can’t be beat.. it’s a corner unit so you have the added bonus of a view from the window when inside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book the same unit again.

We have stayed at Sandy Shores during March for almost 10 years. Although those stays have been wonderful, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness this year. The carpeting was dirty and the furniture was stained. We are hoping this was a temporary problem and will be taken care of.

Room was clean , elevator was down when we got there so they moved us to another place I had a grand son in wheel chair with us , they did accommodated us with choice of room they had all and all staff did what they could
