This holiday season, immerse yourself in a magical, illuminated marine world at Aqua Lanterns: A Chinese Festival of Lights at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Open Wednesday through Sunday evenings, this stunning after-hours experience will transport you into a dazzling undersea wonderland where light and nature meet in perfect harmony.
As the sun sets, the aquarium transforms into a glowing seascape, featuring over 30 breathtaking lantern displays that light up the night. From towering 13-foot sculptures of majestic whales and playful penguins to shimmering jellyfish and vibrant sea creatures, each piece is meticulously crafted to bring the ocean to life in a whole new way.

Stroll through the aquarium’s enchanting pathways and discover the art of light and culture as you wander next to live marine animals in the same space.
