7th Annual ROC Kite Day

The 7th Annual Kite Day in Madeira Beach is scheduled for Monday, March 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at ROC Park, located at 200 Rex Place, Madeira Beach, FL 33708. This free event invites families and kite enthusiasts to enjoy a day of colorful displays and activities by the waterfront. To encourage participation, the first 500 children will receive complimentary kites, ensuring that even newcomers can join in the aerial fun. ​

In addition to kite flying, attendees can purchase food and drinks from JB's Hot Dogs, making it convenient to enjoy a picnic in the park. The event also features a Touch-A-Truck experience, allowing children and adults to explore vehicles from the Madeira Beach Fire Department and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office up close. This interactive opportunity provides insight into the equipment and operations of local emergency services. With a blend of recreational and educational activities, the 7th Annual Kite Day promises a memorable experience for all ages. ​
