RumFish Grill is a fully immersive experience where visitors can eat, drink, shop and explore. The restaurant’s main attraction is a 33,500 gallon aquarium that encompasses an entire wall of the dining room. The aquarium was built by Wayde King and Brett Raymer of Animal Planet’s hit series “Tanked” . Venture down to the underwater viewing area of the 33,500 gallon tank, inhabited by large fish indigenous to Tampa Bay and Gulf of Mexico. A four foot green moray eel shares the coral ledge and rocks with grouper, while more than 20 species including snook, redfish, spotted trout and lookdowns cruise by. An educational hallway helps visitors identify the fish they see. Another tank houses juvenile indigenous fish and the tank in the bar features Pacific tropicals and lionfish, an invasive species.
