Manatee Viewing Center

Located next to the TECO Big Bend power station, the manatee viewing center is a great place to see as many of these sweet, docile creatures in their natural habitat. The animals love the warm water that comes from the station, and are always guaranteed to be around by the time you get there. Complete with a brand new ray touch tank, this is the perfect place to take pictures to brag to your relatives that are freezing up north. The best part? It's free!! It is a bit of a drive, located about 60-70 minutes from any of our resorts, but it is truly a spectacle you cannot see anywhere else!
