Take the Hubbards Marina Tampa Bay Ferry from Fort De Soto to the wildlife preserve for only $15, and reserve a spot on the snorkeling excursion for only $10 more. Explore the ruins of Spanish-American War Fort Dade, or the grassflates just teeming with natural sealife. The trip gives you about an hour of swimming time plus 2-3 hours to explore the island.
